Scholarships
JBMF awards scholarships to honor the life and legacy of Jason Beaird and provide financial assistance for graduating Orange County, Florida, high school seniors who have overcome adversity. Since 2017, we have awarded 91 scholarships for a total of $91,000.

Our scholars have faced immense struggles in their lives, yet despite these challenges, plan to continue their academic journey at a Junior/Community College, Technical School, or 4-year university following high school graduation.
2026 JBMF Scholarship Application Requirements
The 2026 JBMF Scholarship applications are now available.
JBMF is offering around ten $1,000 scholarships to graduating Orange County seniors who have overcome adversity, as Jason did. Scholarship requirements include the following:

Minimum 2.5 GPA

Minimum 30 Community Service or Employment Hours

Students will answer questions addressing adversities they have overcome

Transcript, including first semester senior year grades

OPTIONAL, but HIGHLY recommended and subject to verification: One Letter of Recommendation

Applications are limited to the first 100 received by March 17, 2026.
