JBMF awards scholarships to honor the life and legacy of Jason Beaird and provide financial assistance for graduating Orange County, Florida, high school seniors who have overcome adversity.
RMH provides a home away from home for families with children receiving treatment at hospitals and medical facilities in Orlando. Lunch and dinner are provided for the families on a volunteer basis and JBMF is happy to prepare and serve meals for the families, as well as providing Snack Bags to families staying at RMH to take to the hospital with them.
UF opened in 2021 the new Florida Ballpark and the visiting bullpen there is a lasting tribute to Jason’s commitment to higher education and love of baseball.
Jason spent many hours in hospital clinics receiving blood and platelet transfusions while fighting his battle with MM. JBMF encourages blood donations and periodically sponsors blood drives through Oneblood in Orlando.
